Personal Progress – Update on the Giant Painting
People have been asking me about the painting I had written about months ago. I’m talking about the “large scale” religious piece of art involving a complex composition and many intricacies. Well, I haven’t forgotten about it, and since I said I’d post more on it, here it is. I’m still not ready to show it here and may never be. It’s really a personal project, a challenge of sorts which may prove to be a learning experience or an important piece in my personal artistic oeuvre. As I write this I consider it a work in progress. It still has great potential to go either way! Suffice it to say, it has been very time consuming due to its size and complexity, but my interest in “pulling it off” is still high. So with luck and some extra blessings, I know I can make it work. At the very least, it’s a challenge beyond anything I’ve yet tried artistically and is preparing me for things to come! Thanks to those who’ve been asking about it, and please wish me luck!
