Street Long Art Exhibition

There’s an exciting fine arts event coming up this Saturday, May 4 from 6 – 9:00 PM.  It’s called the “Spring Art Crawl” and it’s located along Main Street in Springville, NY.  The street itself becomes an extended gallery exhibit as juried artworks are on display in various storefronts along the way.  Over 50 artists will be represented in the show which includes works selected by three jurors from hundreds of entries.  Traditional and abstract works in various media will be featured.  Since this will be a one night event, we can expect it to be a bustling, high energy evening, ending with a party at Arts Underground at 9PM.  You can begin your evening at the corner of Main and Mechanic Streets where an event map can be obtained to guide through the exhibits.

Six of my paintings will be included in the exhibition, including the one pictured above.  I’m honored to have had this painting chosen as the featured image for the event’s website.  My other works included in the show are likewise figurative paintings plus two pieces of western art.  I’m looking forward to strolling or “crawling”, as it were, among the various store locations and observing the wonderful variety of art pieces that will be on display at this unique event.  For more information, please visit  the Springville Center for the Arts website.  Hope to see you there!
