National Art Exhibition
Recently there was a call for entries for the Fall National Art Competition at Impact Artists Gallery in Buffalo, NY. Unlike the previous show at this gallery, the Fall National was open to entries from across the United States. The Amur Tiger was juried into the show and is currently on display. Wildlife painter, Daniel Meyer was the juror of this particular show.

Though Amur Tiger is obviously a wildlife painting, and the judge himself is primarily a wildlife artist, the show consists of a very eclectic group of accepted works in styles ranging from representational to completely abstract. There was a very nice reception held on Nov 5 which was well attended and gave artists and visitors a chance to mingle and dialog about the art and about their life experiences.
This is my second show at the Impact gallery, the previous being the Fall Invitational just a couple of months ago which featured Red Dancer, Water Skimmers and Ascension. I’m grateful that this primarily women’s gallery offers opportunities for group exhibitions like these to include their male counterparts!
The gallery is located at the Tri-Main Building, 2495 Main St. Suite 545 in Buffalo, New York. The exhibition is on display until Dec 3, 2011 and is open to the public. Admission is free.
