The horses depicted in this equine portrait really demonstrated their friendship as they were posing together, almost in “selfie” fashion. Horses develop true camaraderie, both in the wild and in domestic settings, and these two were no exception. I love how the larger one is leaning in, seemingly to get closer to his companion for the shot. It highlights the personalities depicted in the painting, and even adds a hint of quirkiness.
