Fine Art Solo Exhibition
Greetings readers! Now that spring’s in full swing, there’s a plethora of fine arts events on the immediate horizon. I’m happy to announce that among these will be a solo exhibition of my paintings and sculptures on view at the Charles E. Burchfield Nature & Art Center, located at 2001 Union Road, West Seneca, NY. The exhibition, titled “A Natural Style – The Artistic Realism of Dean Vigyikan”, will feature an ample helping of oil and acrylic paintings as well as a collection of original sculptures on display. I’m hoping it’ll be a veritable springtime picnic of visual expression!

As mentioned before, curating an art exhibit can be a design project unto itself, with many variables to consider from an aesthetic standpoint. Most important among these is often the visual logic and coherence, or “flow”, as one might call it, from one art piece to the next. Although the artwork in this show is objective or representational in nature, there is, at times, considerable variation in the style of paint application from one artwork to the next. Also, subject matter represented in the show will range from wildlife to portrait, landscape to fantasy art. I hope that the variations in style and subject matter will help add to the interest and entertainment value of the exhibit non prescription ed pills. Ultimately, of course, it’ll be up to each visitor to ascertain what he or she has gained from the experience.
The exhibition, which features a number of brand new paintings, will run from June 6 through June 30, 2013. A public opening reception will be held on Friday June 7th from 7 – 9 pm. Hope to see you there!
