Fine Art Portrait Commissions
I’m often asked whether I do commissioned paintings of individuals. I enjoy receiving commissions and consulting with collectors regarding the particular projects they have in mind.
Someone ordering a commissioned piece is welcome to describe his or her preferences in colors, pose, subject matter, etc.
Such a client also has access to my suggestions and recommendations which can open up new ideas and approaches which may interest him or her.
One thing in particular I love about portraiture is the opportunity to focus on the personality of the subject. I have a passion for conveying the mood and overall essence of whatever person I happen to be depicting.
Then again, this applies to painting portraits of the non-human kind as well!
