Fantasy Character Art –  Acrylic and Ink

With the proliferation of digital art media and the worldwide exposure afforded by the internet, fantasy art has been on the rise as an accepted fine art discipline.  It’s a genre which lends itself to digital painting techniques as well as traditional media.  This series of paintings began with digital color sketches which were then translated into “real life” ink and acrylic paintings.  While these artworks are meant to stand as independent paintings in their own right, I include them among my illustrations because of the crossover techniques used in creating them.  This 35 piece series sold out, but there may be more whimsical fantasy paintings yet to come.
