Here’s a painting rendered on site in the the rocky mountains.  “On site” meant pretty chilly conditions for this one!  That’s particularly the case since painting with gloves on really wasn’t an option.  Cold temps notwithstanding, I was able to draw out some of the warmer colors and tones in the rocks of the stream and scattered throughout the trees in the background, bringing life to this December landscape.
