Dark Viking – Digital Painting

Arriving on the shores of a new land, an imposing figure emerges from the mist to survey unknown territory. This is one viking no one wants to mess with. Visually speaking, I kept the composition simple by using repeating elements throughout. A C-shaped curve occurs within and around the character, which helps unify the picture while also framing the subject.
