Arctic Landscape Drawing, et al
Today, I thought I’d share another one of those cartoon landscape drawings I was talking about earlier. One of the fun things about drawing these was working with the variety of terrain and color represented in the compositions. The previous example was an African savanna pervaded by tones of brown and the occasional patch of green. Here’s another extreme where an arctic scene was requested.
Quite a difference in temperature! The style however remains the same and still matches the artistic technique used throughout this series. I left plenty of ice floes in the water for the arctic creatures to stand on. The creatures themselves were designed to be stickers, so they can be placed wherever the customer wants in the landscape artwork. Included in their ranks are the polar bear, emperor penguin, walrus, sea lion, black-footed penguin, etc.
