Noël is a lovely golden retriever with a gentle expression and distinctive coloration in her face, featuring a whitened “mask” around her muzzle and eyes. Part of the fun of drawing is indicating color changes like this without the use of color. It becomes a matter of carefully applying the tones of gray to suggest variations in color and other distinguishing features.
