Many who view this drawing have the same reaction, “Awwwwwwww!” Yes, I must admit I too am a cat lover, and relish the chance to draw one, particularly when I know it has such personal meaning to an individual or family. Cats like Jonnie are endearing, among other reasons, for the combination of aloof independence and human attachment which they exemplify.
