Ebook Cover Design – Adobe Illustrator

Working with text is both fun and challenging.  This ebook cover incorporates no extraneous imagery.  I had only the fonts at my disposal to work with.  In my opinion, typography is like another expression of drawing.  Perhaps comparing it with collage would be a good analogy as well.  The letter forms may have been designed by another person, but composing with them isn’t that much different from composing a picture with elements drawn by the artist him or herself.
