Glucose Gladiators Logo – Adobe Illustrator

I enjoy logo design, and often find myself analyzing and evaluating logos I view everywhere, on TV, billboards, trucks, etc.  The ones that are evocative in concept, clean in design, and well-drafted can be truly inspiring.  Oftentimes, the simpler the artwork, the more powerful the impact. There’s also great fun to be had with logos involving, not only a crisp graphic style, but an element of character design as well.  I was commissioned to design this particular logo for a bicycle team and challenged myself to include plenty of detail while maintaining enough simplicity for the artwork to reproduce well at various sizes.
