Spring Art Crawl – Special One Night Event
News flash here! It’s time again for the popular Springville Art Crawl, where participating businesses host the works of selected artists, creating an expansive group exhibition, very much worth the trip to see. Springville NY is a picturesque town featuring specialty shops, restaurants, galleries, theaters, and other cultural points of interest. Six of my original paintings will be included in this year’s Art Crawl. In addition to paintings, I expect there will be photographs, prints, drawings, and other media displayed in local venues up and down Main Street, turning the entire area into an extended gallery space for one night. If it’s anything like last year’s event, it’ll prove a worthwhile evening for visitors, highlighting a quality selection of artwork, as well as offering food and even live musical performances.
The 2014 Springville Art Crawl will take place on Saturday, May 3, from 6 – 9 p.m. Stop by the corner of Main and Mechanic Streets first to pick up a guide to the venues featured in the show, then enjoy an evening of exploring around town and taking in some great art and music. There will also be a number of opening receptions going on along with the exhibition. Like last year, I expect there will be a great diversity of styles and media represented at the Art Crawl, and I’m really looking forward to checking out the quality work on display. It’s likely there will be many friendly artists on hand as well, recognizable by their name tags, and mingling with other viewers at the event. Hope to see you there!
