Dragons in art have been a source of inspiration to me for many years. I grew up enjoying some of the dragon-themed artworks and movies which helped establish them as an inexorable part of our entertainment culture. Of course, dragon paintings are unlimited in imaginative potential as the artist gets to combine elements of so many interesting real-life creatures such as bats, birds, lizards, dinosaurs, even wolves, lions, and so on. This dragon is considering crossing a fiery chasm with spewing lava. Fortunately dragons are no strangers to fire.
