VanOver Fine Arts Summer Exhibition
On the heels of a successful June show is another exciting exhibit coming up next week at VanOver Fine Arts in Springville, NY. “Expressions in Realism” will be a solo fine art exhibition featuring original Dean Vigyikan oil and acrylic paintings, drawings, and sculptures. A public opening reception will be held on Saturday, July 13 from 6-10:00 pm. All are invited to attend. Various scenes and subjects will be represented by the many artworks included in the show, with special attention to wildlife and figurative pieces.
While the style of the art in the exhibit is realistic, as the show’s title suggests, there’s also a mystery and enigmatic flavor to many of my artworks which I hope will come through in this presentation, making available another level of perception to those who come to see the show. I believe this selection of artworks will prove entertaining and engaging to those who’s interest is in expressive technique and evocative subject matter.
Curating my previous show was a successful creative collaboration between the gallery staff and myself. The arrangement of paintings and sculptures at the upcoming exhibit at VanOver Fine Arts is being handled entirely by the gallery. I believe this is going to be an exciting component of the show, since Richard VanOver is himself an accomplished visual artist and has an excellent eye for organizing exciting thematic solo and group exhibitions.
