The idea for Water Skimmers was quite clear in my mind before I began this fairy sculpture.  I could see, in my mind’s eye, the streamlined swoop of unified motion created by the fairies scooting along the surface of the pond.  My inspiration came from observing the various spiders and insects which can be seen darting across the still tension of a quiet lake or stream. The Water Skimmers bronze sculpture is currently being offered as an individually numbered limited edition of 30 pieces.
