The subject of the figurative sculpture Ascension may be interpreted in multifarious ways.  It is, in part, a work of pure fantasy as the young woman sheds the constraints of gravity and flies into the atmosphere under her own powers.  It may also be interpreted as a metaphor for our individual abilities to escape the perceived constraints of our present condition.  It even carries overtones of the Christian doctrine of the literal resurrection of the human family.  The Ascension bronze sculpture is being offered as an individually numbered limited edition of 45 pieces.
