North America Map –  Watercolor on Illustration Board

A painting of North America was needed by a company which was in process of designing some printed material highlighting locations on the continent. The final publication included a frosted, translucent page directly on top of the map. Printed on that page were graphics which indicated particular geographic points of interest. It was an effective and clever solution for presenting the information. I chose watercolor as a medium for the organic feeling it would lend to the landscape.
