The Itinerant Lady (CD Cover Art) – Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, & Corel Painter

Projects involving album cover art are typically great fuel for artists’ imaginations.  Such was the case for me in illustrating the cover and interior pages of The Itinerant Lady, a recent CD release by western folk musician, “V” – The Gypsy Cowbelle.  The artwork started out as pencil sketches which were sent to the client and approved.  I then rendered them as digital watercolor paintings against a parchment background.  Finally, the art was sent to the production team where song titles and text were inserted before the graphics went to press.  To learn more about “The Gypsy Cowbelle”, order a CD, or just sample the music, feel free to hop on over to gypsycowbelle.com.
