This plein air painting of a mountain was created in the same day as its companion pieces, Alpine Bloom and Aspenglow.  Passers by would slow down their cars to look on as I worked near the side of the road.  The person who purchased the work, acquired all three, for which I was happy since they were meant to remain together as a series.
